100 Anniversary of the Chapel of St. Anne


The 100th Anniversary of the Chapel of St. Anne will be celebrated with a special service on Sunday, June 4th at 10:30am. The Chapel was built in 1917 and is one of the oldest buildings on campus. All are welcome to attend the service and reception afterwards.

The Order of St. Anne is a Catholic religious order founded in the 12th century. The order is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saint Anne, the mother of Mary. Members of the order take vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience. They are committed to a life of prayer and service to the Church. The order has both male and female members. The order is active in over 30 countries around the world.

The Chapel of St. Anne is located on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The chapel was built in 1917 and is one of the oldest buildings on campus. The chapel is open to the public and Mass is offered daily. The chapel is also available for weddings and other special events.
